Colours of Comfort – The Artful Design of Sleep

Created for SOJAO during Singapore Design Week 2025, Colours of Comfort is an installation that explores the emotional side of rest.

Using SOJAO's signature palette of bold bedsheet colours, the space transforms part of the Joo Chiat showroom into a dreamlike bedroom landscape. Through colour, objects, and spatial storytelling, visitors are invited to reflect on their own relationship with comfort.

Is comfort found in stillness? In escape? In familiarity? Rather than providing answers, the installation creates room for pause, inviting each visitor to define comfort for themselves.
